Over 2000 years ago, a group of highly intelligent people inha
bited the area we now know as Dor. They built huge cities, resevoirs, and magnificent harbors. Mysteriously, one day they abandoned it all, and nothing was left but toppled stones, grass hovels, and a strange rune with the words Enter Light Dor. Wulfor the Conqueror decided to take over this Light Dor, and with wisdom, might, and honor King Wulfor valiantly claimed this land. There were not that many casualties that day; therefore, it did not take long to bury the dead.
Throughout the years, King Wulfor's dynasty continued to thrive, only falling into disarray during the great war between the Prince Aldread and Crown Prince Allwel during the suspicious illness of their father King Kronik in the year of the Great Plague. Fortunately, the King responded well to treatments and was up and about to discipline the unruly lads. 'Tis said that Aldread was banished with a dreadful clout to the ear. Tradition has it that Aldread tried to set up a kingdom to rival the glory of Dor. The Kingdom of Gor never quite reached that lofty goal. Needless to say Prince Aldread did NOT live happily ever after.
